I believe we are never fully ourselves, even when alone. Our sense of self is shaped by others...by our interactions, relationships, and upbringing. When we spend more time alone, we begin to slip away from this "self," the conscious version we identify with. Yet, there are moments when we get close to this untouched, unaltered consciousness, whether in meditation, fleeting stillness, or even in dreams. It's fascinating to think about... What a beautifully introspective piece you've written, dear Jesse. I’ve found myself reflecting on these questions a lot lately as well. 🤍🤍
