My name is Ahlam, and I'm a journalist by day and a poet by night. My writing is deeply inspired by nature, art, philosophy, and mythology. I also dabble in humor writing, but funnily enough, I tend to only get funny, by my humble standards, when I'm running on caffeine. Tea on the other hand, is what fuels my sappy poetry.

Oh, I forgot to mention an old hobby of mine that I recently picked back up. Drawing.

Since I’m somewhat ancient, and because I couldn’t afford a drawing tablet for a long time, I’m only now starting to get better at digital art, and maybe a little too excited to share my drawings, so you may have already come across one of my poems paired with a not-so-digital sketch that looks like it was drawn on paper.
